
As founding shareholder of Mack & Santana Law Offices, P.C., Laurie Mack-Wagner has been practicing since 1994 in complex litigation primarily in family law and related causes of action. Laurie is also a Qualified Mediator under Rule 114, which provides a cost-effective option for those parties looking for a neutral professional to assist them with resolving their legal disputes themselves through agreement. With her practice based primarily in the Twin Cities area, Laurie has taught at several continuing legal education seminars in Minnesota, authored published articles nationally and statewide, and most recently co-authored the child support chapter in the Family Law Financial Deskbook, first edition, 2008, new from Minnesota CLE. Since 2005 and each year therafter, Laurie has also been featured in Minnesota Law & Politics, Who’s Who in Family Law.
After graduating with Highest Honors in the top 5% of her class from Florida State University's College of Law in 1994, Laurie served as an associate at Carlton Fields in Tampa, a leading Florida law firm. At Carlton Fields, Laurie began her career in the business litigation arena, focusing primarily on complex corporate litigation, employment law and appellate practice. She also provided pro bono services for guardians ad litem in juvenile court, and gave presentations on sexual harassment at various law seminars across central Florida. (continued...)
As one of the founding shareholders of Mack & Santana Law Offices, P.C., Lymari J. Santana brings to the practice of family law a decade of litigation and trial experience, and a diverse background. Lymari was born in Augusta, Georgia, but she spent most of her childhood in Puerto Rico. Lymari received a bilingual education and she speaks, reads and writes Spanish as fluently as English.
After graduating with honors from the Detroit College of Law, Michigan State University, in June of 1994, Lymari worked in the general litigation firm James M. Hacker, P.C., in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and served as the assistant prosecutor for the Village of New Haven. After working on civil litigation, criminal defense and federal appeals at James M. Hacker, P.C., Lymari joined the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) in June 1995, to fulfill her four-year commitment to the armed forces. Lymari started her military service at Fort McClellan, Alabama, where she worked in a variety of capacities. During her first year of service Lymari advised soldiers, family members and retirees on family law, wills and estates, consumer law and tax issues. In 1996, Lymari became a military trial counsel and an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama. Lymari was responsible for prosecuting military criminal trials and federal misdemeanor trials. In 1998, Lymari requested transfer to the United States Army Trial Defense Service at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. At Fort Bragg, Lymari served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a criminal trial defense counselor, responsible for representing defendants in criminal jury and bench trials and administrative hearings. Lymari remained with the JAG Corps until April 2000, when she decided to enter into private practice.
