As one of the founding shareholders of Mack & Santana Law Offices, P.C., Lymari J. Santana brings to the practice of family law over a decade of litigation and trial experience, and a diverse background. Lymari has been practicing law since 1994, focusing exclusively on family law litigation since 2000. She co-founded Mack & Santana Law Offices, P.C. in 2004, and the firm has been "of counsel" to Mansfield, Tanick & Cohen, P.A. since 2005.

Lymari has successfully represented high net-worth clients in complex divorce cases. She is also experienced in effectively representing clients facing complicated custody, parenting time and financial challenges in paternity cases, post-divorce modifications and enforcement of court orders. Lymari excels in providing strong, dynamic advocacy for her clients, combined with efficient, creative legal services. She is also a Qualified Mediator under Rule 114, which provides a cost-effective option for those parties looking for a neutral professional to assist them with resolving legal disputes through agreement.

Lymari has been listed in Minnesota Super Lawyers since 2007, and she was listed in the Top 100 Women Super Lawyers in 2007 and 2009. She was previously selected as a Minnesota Rising Star from 2005 through 2007 by Minnesota Law & Politics, which recognizes the top Minnesota lawyers who are 40 years or younger, or who have been practicing less than ten years. Lymari's peers and colleagues in the legal profession chose her for this honor, which is awarded to only 2.5% of all Minnesota lawyers. As a partner of the WCCO News Radio Real Estate Hour, Lymari has been a guest on the live show to answer questions and speak about divorce and real estate issues. Lymari lectures frequently on family law topics for continuing legal education courses, and she has co-authored several published articles on a wide-range of family law issues.

Lymari received a bilingual education and she speaks, reads and writes Spanish as fluently as English. She attended the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, on an Army ROTC scholarship and earned a degree in political science with honors in 1991. After graduation, Lymari moved to Detroit, Michigan, to pursue a law degree at Michigan State University College of Law. After graduating from law school in 1994, Lymari served in the Army Judge Advocate General Corps. Initially, Lymari advised soldiers and their families on family law issues, tax issues, consumer law and wills and estates. Lymari finished her military career after serving a tour of duty as a criminal defense lawyer with the paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division. Working as a criminal defense lawyer, Lymari represented soldiers charged with crimes ranging from sexual misconduct to manslaughter, and facing administrative elimination boards. In 2000, Lymari brought her litigation experience to family law.

Lymari has worked as a lawyer-volunteer for the Hennepin County Family Court Settlement Program. She also works as a lawyer-volunteer for the Spanish LAW Clinics at Tubman (a non-profit organization), providing instruction and assistance on family law issues to individuals who have difficulty with speaking English or who do not speak English at all.
