Calen King is an associate attorney with Mack & Santana Law Offices, P.C. His areas of practice include divorce and child custody litigation.

He earned his B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from the University of Montana. During undergrad, Calen served as a Student Advisor at the University of Montana’s School of Business where he advised his peers on academic and graduation plans. He also successfully completed a volunteer-based internship with the Department of Transportation in Washington D.C., where he worked in governmental regulation and enforcement for all six modes of transportation. Following undergrad, Calen worked as a family law paralegal for four years at a boutique family law firm in downtown Missoula, Montana, which solidified his decision to go to law school. As a family law paralegal, Calen gained extensive knowledge of the dissolution process, equitably dividing marital debts and assets, drafting qualified domestic relation orders, delineating parenting schedules, drafting joint petitions for dissolution of marriage actions, termination of parental rights, adoptions, and guardianship cases.

Calen attended law school at the University of North Dakota. During law school, Calen worked as a Student Prosecutor for the East Grand Forks City Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted petty misdemeanor to gross misdemeanor criminal cases. He also worked as a family law clerk where he assisted in motion practice and discovery on a host of family law related issues ranging from division of marital debts and assets, custody, premarital agreements, and post-judgment divorce litigation.

Following his admission to the Minnesota State Bar, Calen worked at a civil litigation firm in downtown Minneapolis as a municipal attorney where he assisted in representing cities, counties, and school districts in Minnesota courts.

Calen is admitted to practice in Minnesota state and federal courts.
